As a charity it is imperative that we raise funds through many different channels and this year we plan to set up an online auction, shop and raffle.

We hope that by providing this online it will give both the members attending the conference and those who are not a chance to get involved and help raise funds.

The auction will open in mid-September, approximately one month before the FSA annual conference, on the 23th Oct 2015. The auction and conference will both end on Sunday 25th October.

Liz Knowles has kindly agreed to set up and coordinate the auction. If you think you may be able to offer a little time, remotely, in the run up or at the conference drop Liz a line through fundraising@forestschoolassociation.org

How you can help:

Donating:  Handmade items, tools, bits of kit, training, special experiences … anything you can think of that we can either put in the raffle or auction.  Please read the details and terms below (please do not send us your items). The more diverse the donations we receive the more interesting the auction so if you have anything you think may raise funds then please consider donating.

Promoting the auction and raffle. This is hopefully something every member can do. We need as much help as possible in promoting the auction in Sept, not only within the FSA community. So if you have any contacts at all then it would be fantastic if you can help us get this auction as widely heard about as possible.

Organisations: If you know of any organisations who you think may donate please let us know. There are sponsorship opportunities as well (please contact enquiries@forestschoolassociation.org).

Further Donating Information:

Firstly thank you for considering donating an item for the auction and raffle. Every little item really matters. Please read the following information to help us deal with, what I am sure will be a tremendous response, as efficiently as possible.

  • When you donate a physical item you will also be donating the cost of the postage to get it to the winner of the auction or raffle. UK only – Please check the item’s weight and dimensions and signed for postage costs and that you are happy to cover this as part of your donation.
  • When the auction closes we will pass your contact details on to the winner of your item and their details to you so you can co-ordinate the delivery together. We request that items are sent out ASAP after the auction close and within a maximum two weeks of this date.

If you are happy with these terms then please email the information requested on the form below with a photo (as an attachment) to fundraising@forestschoolassociation.org
