Tree planting seems to be firmly on the agenda of this government with the new tree strategy and, since starting in 2012, the FSA has been working with many organisations involved in woodland creation, management and education. This year a new initiative is is being launched, ‘The Children’s Forest’. This organisation will work with other across the country and the FSA is pleased to support and partner with the initiative at this early stage.
This is about creating a national children’s initiative with children planning, creating, planting and tending trees for children – in a very creative process.
