Event description: New Earthwalk Book by Steve Van Matre now available at Workshops in the UK.
The long-awaited Earthwalk book has just been published. It contains many totally new sensory experiences as well as updated and revised versions of popular and established activities. Bringing nearly 50 activities together with tools and guidance for leading this earth education vehicle to encourage people to feel the joy, kinship, reverence and love for the natural world. Some of the new activities are ideal for an adult audience while others are suitable for all ages. An Earthwalk is ‘a light, refreshing touch of nature that focuses on reawakening individual senses and sharpening perceptions in the natural world’.
There are a number of workshops planned in the UK this summer to launch the new Earthwalk book “Earthwalks, an alternative nature experience” - packed with both NEW and revised sensory-based activities, and with an in-depth look at how to conduct Earthwalks for all ages. This workshop has much to offer seasoned leaders of Earthwalks and Forest School leaders as well as those new to this amazing way of introducing people to the natural world in innovative ways. Currently, the new book is only available to Workshop Participants.
These workshops will be delivered by one of the Institute for Earth Education accredited trainers; Jon Cree or Mark Jefferys.
