Forest School and Outdoor Learning Assistants
Salary: We contribute towards travel expenses

Job description: At Nature Links we are a group of wild grown ups who all share three passions: children, families and nature. We believe that children should be in natural surroundings and that learning through play is a critical part of young people’s development. That’s why we love the Forest School approach to learning. Exciting times are heading our way. We are slowly growing and looking for new assistants to join our team. We run a variety of Forest School and outdoor learning events in the Whitton and Hounslow area for children aged 2 to 9 and their educators. A couple of hours a week may not seem a lot but it makes a huge difference to the quality of experience we can provide our adventurers. Maybe you are looking for a way to learn some new skills or you\’re a trainee who is looking for valuable experience to sign off your handbook. Either way we would love to hear from you. Ideally you’ll be available on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday mornings and/or afternoon during term times. We are also looking for a bank of support who would like to join the team in a more flexible way during holidays and with special events. To show our appreciation we contribute towards travel expenses, provide snacks and tea on the job, you\’ll be publicly named on our tree of appreciation and you\’ll an invitation to our thank you lunch once a half term. Person specification : We are looking for people who:
- Love working as part of a community team
- have experience working with young children
- enjoy being outside come rain or shine
- have enthusiasm and passion for nature and the great outdoors
- can commit to a minimum of half a term
- enjoy drinking tea (or water) as long as you chat while you do
Any other information: This role will be subject to suitable references and an enhanced DBS check – if you do not hold a current check we can support you to get one.
