Volunteer Helpers for Forest school experience

Job description: Volunteers needed to help out our experienced Forest School team at the Bedgebury Forest Schools Experience. These are 4, 2 day experiences run during the summer holidays. The money raised from these sessions will provide a full 6 week forest schools course for children from a local school who would not otherwise be able to participate.

Dates:

28-19th & 30-31st July

25-26th & 27th-28th August

Session isĀ  10am-3pm

We would like help with the setting up of the site each morning, assisting with the activities, keeping the site tidy and safe, assisting with the activities and tidying away at the end of session.

Person specification : Essential

Volunteers must be enthusiastic about Forest School and have some awareness of the Forest School ethos and activities.

You will be expected to get involved in activities and assist children. You will also need to help set up and break down the camp after each session. The sessions will be led by 2 level three Forest School practitioners and other volunteers.

CRB or DBS Check

Level 1-3 Forest School Practitioner training
