Job Description: To carry out duties of a Forest School leader. Plan, prepare and deliver Forest School activities on a daily basis. To lead and manage another member of staff. Keep the area tidy and safe (including fires and toilets)
Person Specification: Level 3 trained. 1st aid certified. Able to work outside in all weathers all year (open 50 weeks a year, 8.15 to 4.15). Able to communicate and deliver Forest School to 3 to 5 year olds. Job share considered.
Any Other Information: As a successful farm based nursery for over a decade, we have built a yurt by our woods and intend to run a Forest School from there (subject to Ofsted approval). The yurt has an area fenced off from the farm that includes field and wood. The yurt has a wood-burner and there are eco-toilets on site and drinking water.
