An opportunity for Forest school providers in England to showcase their good work around physical play and activity at FS.  This will help raise the Forest School profession’s profile within education and the health sectors.

National Call for Promising Physical Activity Programmes

On behalf of Public Health England, the ukactive Research Institute and the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine in Sheffield are undertaking a national process to identify projects and programmes that demonstrate good or promising practice in increasing levels of physical activity in local communities.

You can submit your programmes through a simple online questionnaire that can be found on the ukactive Research Institute website

This really is a unique opportunity to showcase your programmes on a national level, potentially as part of the Government’s National Physical Activity Implementation Framework, and in a report to be published by ukactive. We have had hundreds of submissions so far and as a key partner I would really hate for you to miss out on this opportunity, and have the good work you are doing not represented.

The deadline for submissions is Friday 18th July. Failure to submit before this deadline will mean that any programmes you are delivering will not be included in the associated report and will not be showcased at future events, including the ukactive Summit in November the sector’s set piece political event.
