Stop press – The FSA is looking for someone to co-ordinate this years national Forest School conference to be held on October 12th/13th at Derwent Hill OE Centre, nr Keswick. The role will involve organising workshop leaders and keynote speakers, liaising with the FSA office to oversee conference administration and liaison with Derwent Hill about the details of the conference planning. Person Specification
1. Experience of coordinating conferences or large events
2. Forest school experience
3. Experience of sourcing speakers and appropriate individuals to run workshops
4. IT literacy – must be able to use email effectively, use a word processer to draft documents, and use the internet as a research tool
5. Must have good organisational skills and be able to project mange the event
6. Must have a mature outlook and ability to communicate with participates, centre staff, speakers and providers
7. Must be able to represent the FSA in an appropriate and professional manner
