Our first Recognised Forest School Provider in Scotland is awarded to Earthtime in Elgin, Moray.

Co-founder Laura Russell and Project Leader Natalie Campbell are delighted to have been announced as Scotland’s first Recognised Provider of quality Forest School provision.

Natalie explains “As an organisation, Earthtime has worked hard to embed Forest School principles into all the work we do and have seen considerable benefits as a result in the hundreds of children we work with each year. We are very proud to be the first FSA Recognised Forest School provider in Scotland as evidence of our commitment to Forest School. We hope that this will further strengthen our reputation as a professional, experienced and dedicated Forest School provider.”

Natalie went on to explain the process of applying for the reward.

“The process to become a FSA Recognised Forest School provider was reassuringly thorough, ensuring that we could adequately evidence Forest School principles in our approach. There was great support from the FSA in detailing requirements and any follow up queries.”
