Jigsaw Curzon House Day Nursery have just been awarded Recognised Forest School Provider status – the first Early Years setting in Cheshire.
“We are extremely proud that we have been approved as a FSA Recognised Forest School Provider and being the first Early Years Provider to be approved in Cheshire makes it even more special.
We work extremely hard to ensure all the children who take part in Forest School sessions get a real sense of what Forest School is about. We have discovered an endless amount of benefits and rewards for the children through the long term Forest School programme that we offer. Having this recognition really does make us feel that our hard work and commitment towards our Forest School Provision is recognised and acknowledged, illustrating to our nursery parents and future parents the importance of FS and helping them to understand and value the significance of what we have to offer to their child.
We believe that the #ForestSchool ethos and philosophy enriches the lives and learning opportunities of the children in our care and something that makes our setting that extra bit special.
The application process was easy to follow and the feedback was constructive, concise and easy to monitor. Our mentor Lisa was on hand to answer any questions we had and even highlighted small adjustments we could make to improve our provision and processes even further.”
