Job description: Are you looking for a new outdoor job opportunity? We are looking for Qualified Forest School leaders and assistants to run our popular forest school parties in Bristol. This will involve flexible working as a sub-contractor at weekends.
Forest leader duties: Setting up the party site, with the resources provided. Meeting the guests and leading the activities, lighting a camp fire and toasting marshmallows! Giving instructions to the assistant.
Forest assistant duties: Working with the leader to help run the session, speaking to the party guests and answering nature questions from the children. No fire lighting will be required.
Person specification: Level 3 Qualified Forest School Leaders (Sub contractor basis)
Location: Wraxall Piece in Bristol
We would welcome applications from anyone who has experience in planning and leading a variety of forest school sessions. You will need to be able to work with all age groups, but ideally from the ages of 3 – 13 years old.
You will be outgoing, positive and flexible. A Level 3 Forest School qualification, DBS and Pediatric First Aid certificate would also be required.
Forest School Assistant role: You will have the energy and enthusiasm required to support the leader and the party children! No teaching qualifications are needed, but experience in working with children would be beneficial. Car transportation is desirable as there are not reliable public transport links.
