Job description: We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals with good organisational and communication skills and a willingness to develop their practice.
Job responsibilities:
• To develop good relationships with the children and their parents/carers
• To assist in the delivery a range of forest learning activities to a variety of client groups
• To assist in the delivery of other types of less formal learning activities: family events, woodland birthday parties
• Actively seek to improve our service and the quality of our provision
• To support the development of additional services such as after school and holiday clubs
• To ensure that both Forest School sites are managed in accordance with guidelines and take responsibility for maintenance
Person specification : We are looking for self-motivated and caring people with a love for the outdoors (all weathers) to join our friendly team. This is a term time position commencing in September 2014. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work at both our Forest School sites in Cobham and Ascot. We would expect successful candidates to work between two to four morning sessions per week depending upon demand for classes. The duration of each session is three hours.
