Job description: Based in Muswell Hill, Fun In The Forest runs Forest School sessions in a local woodland – Coldfall Wood. We are currently looking for a Forest School assistant for our Wednesday classes starting after Easter holidays. Your day would start at 10am and finish at 5.30pm and your main role will be to assist our Forest School leader in delivering two hour sessions in nature, with pre school children aged 3-5 and school children aged 4-11 during After-school club.
Person specification : If you are an advocate of child centred pedagogy, passionate about getting children outdoors and share our love for the natural world, please get in touch. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested to gain experience in Forest School philosophy and outdoor experiential learning. Experience of working with under 5s and primary aged children as well as a valid CRB check is essential.
